Problems with posting a reply on forum.

I not sure if this is the correct section to post this issue in.
There's an intermittent problem that's getting more regular when trying to use the reply to via the host images icon.
Logging in isn't a problem, open a new lab for a post and then try and reply comes up with a request for you to log-in again (image below).
Unfortunately it keeps rejecting the login email and password and also doesn't accept user name and password.
Trying logging out and then logging back in also fails more often than it works. Then the next day it will work without a hitch.
Add to that it's also impossible to change the log-in email that I have, which was discontinued and therefore useless.
There hasn't been any admin on the forum ( https://uotw.catsboard.com/ ) for around seven years, which probably doesn't help the situation.
Any advice will be very welcome,

Than you, I ask if anyone is interested in taking control a couple of years back which received no response, and I'm not exactly what you would call competent where computers are concerned. Also wondering if using Linux would make things more awkward to try and admin the forum.
Although there's quite a few members, there's very little input from any.
I'll put another post on the forum and see if there's anyone who would wish to take over
