how to make portal page not as homepage

I want to make a standalone portal site like help.forumotion.com/portal

it's not a site it's just a home page where members would see before they see your forum unless they save the link to the main forum before they see the portal.

To make a portal you would have to be logged in as Admin / Founder.

My thoughts wish it had a separate link /portal
when entering the forum it will not appear first
