Quick question about the "Discord Webhook"-feature...

... Does it work on a forum that is locked/closed/only open to registered members?

Hello,

I believe the Discord Webhook feature simply allow for automated notifications of posts on your forum to a Discord Server that you manage. So a locked section would not generate notifications unless perhaps an admin or moderator with permissions to post in that section were to do so.

I should add that every single section on my forum is opened to registered members, but closed for guests. Which is why you only will see a login page, if you try to visit my forum.

... And noticed this part here:

All forums with public access: a notification will be sent to the Discord text channel (chosen in the previous step) each time a new message and/or topic is published in a public forum. Notifications will affect all forums with public access.

Select: You can select the forums you want to follow in your Discord text channel. The selection concerns both public forums and private forums.

Changing this is a paid feature, and I wonder if the webhook will only work with private sections if I pay for this very feature, which seems to be the case here? bwi
