hi - moderator?
hi - moderator?
I've asked before about making a moderator without access to the ADM panel, but I can't figure it out from the explanation I got!
I have now found a member who would like to be a moderator!
Can you provide a very specific and simple procedure for creating a moderator?
Greetings
Paul

Re: hi - moderator?
Good afternoon!
If you want to make one user a moderator without joining him to a special group:
AP - Users & Groups - Users management
Next, tick the sections where the user will be a moderator.
Don't forget to save.
If you want to add a user to a special group and give this group moderation rights, then, please, read the tutorial: Organizing Groups - Section "Advanced group management mode" - Question "How do I set group access rights to forum sections?"

Re: hi - moderator?
So you have group called Moderators that have access to the AP? Could you not just create a group that moderates the forum, but do not have access to the AP. In English, the group that only has access to the AP is the Administrator group when you create a forum.
