Custom Banned Screen

First topic message reminder :

I had this idea yesterday. What if you can customize your banned screen?

When you get banned, it looks like this:

Do you think that kind of looks...boring? Can we have the option of customizing your banned screen. Yes I know, the member is banned, what does it matter. Well we can't really explain in that much detail why the member was banned.

We could have these options:

[BANNED BANNER IMAGE]

Hello User, you have been banned from The Forum for the following:

Reason:
Ban Given:
Ban Length:
Ban Expires:
Moderator Comments:
(You can also add additional fields to if you would like)

Enjoy your ban.

That is what my idea of being banned would look like with a custom ban screen

It would also kind of look like this:

You can also have the option of having random banner images, like if you refresh the page, a different banner will pop up.

What if you disabled a member to post in a certain forum? Send Private Messages? Send Attachments? Edit there profile?

You could just leave that notification up if, let's say members are spamming in PM's, and you just want to ban them from sending PM's. When they will go to the PM field, the ban notification will pop up alerting the member that they have been banned from sending PM's.

That is just my idea.

I agree, but I find this insulting in a way when mods ban members just because of a difference of opinion and then repeatedly say fowl stuff, obscenities or other insults behind his back.

I believe this could be a reason for litigation, if the mods put ban motives such as "You punk you deserve to be banned as you suck so bad, and when you open you mouth you stink weed and booze, so thanks but no thanks and get lost you loser"

Believe me, if some one would ban me kike that, he'd be sure to get a litigation for my part, as such obscenities should to begin with.

Yet, the idea as it is seems interesting (I may not vote though)! Why? Because I am 50-50 ...
And, yes a drop down menu could be a pretty useful thing here, as giving mods the option to say why the member is banned without adding any obscenities as in my above example.

when you ban someone fill out this form and put it in the comment section

limages is a list of the random images that will show .. remove or add to the list as you wish... if you dont want to display a image just use .. https://2img.net/i/fa/empty.gif as the image

also in the img u will see my copyright in the corner for those who are smart enough to remove this from the code i would advise against it

Would be nice to have an extra 'Ban' button in each post that redirects to the template & opens up the right page in the ACP in an extra browser tab atst / fills out the form for you given the entries in the ACP for the user to be banned. Just saying... Wink

I am 50-50 as well..I just got banned from a site just because I didn't reply back to his insults and I was also told to take his stuff down that he created for my site..so I started doing that and then I was going back to let him know and I was banned..oh well..don't need to be insulted and him being rude..was also banned from another site and I am not sure why I was banned..so it's 50-50..
