Birthday management message never shows.

I have always had Birthday management and birthday greetings enabled in the AP, and have also entered a birthday message, but I have never seen a message sent to anyone. Our forum has the Birthday option as "Necessarily filled" in the profile. Can you tell me if I am doing something wrong?

Create a testing account and set the day of birth to tomorrow. Then, log in in the forum with that account tomorrow and see if it works.

I actually did that last night on my forum (not a test account), and changed my birthday to today, but nothing showed anywhere this morning.

Edit: Where should I see the greeting if it was working?

Maybe it's just a glitch on your part since it is quite peculiar it won't work because it woulda since you said last night.

Wait, well, what time did you set it? By last night, you might've set it not in regards with your time zone of the forum. Try again right now and wait for exactly 24 hours to 25 hours and log in your forum. See how that goes. So yeah, just use a test account this time.

One of my members had a birthday on Christmas eve and she says she got the greeting, so maybe as Kaiser Lee says, it could just be a glitch in my browser. I am using Firefox 17.0.1 and I have pop-ups disabled but allow the forum as an exception.
I'll try changing my birthday again on a test account and give it a day to see if it works on there.

Hi Leeloo, I made a test account yesterday but there is no place in the AP to set "Birthday greetings" (see below)


Normally I would go to AP>Users & groups>Users options, then set from there. This isn't even available in the new look AP.

Never mind, it's no big deal I'll just keep my eye on the Calendar for future birthdays. Just mark it as solved and locked.
