Malicious Site Warning
Hi all,
Several of my members have emailed me telling me they can't get on my forum due to a "Malicious Site Warning". Is this a known issue? And how do I rectify it?
One user said his Norton was giving the error but another user uses Norton and said his isn't giving the same warning.

Hellk,
Is this the forum that is having the issue https://fieldsoffire.forumotion.com/ ? Also would you be able to ask the users having the issue what anti virus program they are running, along with a screenshot of the message they get?

Hello,
You cannot fix it yourself because discovernative.com script is called from server side.
-> Seems to be ads related

Re: Malicious Site Warning
I am not getting an error message when I view your forum, but I also don't use Norton. I might have to make a ticket on this, In the meantime if you could tell your members to add your forum to their whitelist/do not block list so that they can access meanwhile.
In order for me to make the ticket could you please ask your members for this info:
-What device they are viewing the forum from (Computer, phone, tablet, etc)
-What browser they are using
-When did the error start occurring?
-Does it happen every time they try to access the site or only sometimes?

Re: Malicious Site Warning
They're accessing from a PC, with IE and the issue happens everytime they try to go to the forum. It's been going on now for over a week. Prior to that, access was fine. No issues.

no problems with Chrome, if you recently installed the SSL certificate is normal the first hours out of danger ads, which usually disappear within a few hours
Re: Malicious Site Warning
Hello,
OK it seems to be a warning from Norton regarding the ad script for the Native Ads.
For the moment, you can ask to your members to disable the warnings for your forum. On my side, I will ask for a new domain regarding this script in order to don't have this warning.
About the forum itself, there is no security issue: https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=fieldsoffire.forumotion.com
