First topic message reminder :

Brand new servers for better performances

Dear users,

We are going to replace some Forumotion servers, so we can offer you better performances.
This manipulation is harmless for your forums. Only a few slowdowns can be encountered during the process when browsing your forums.

Update : The techs are still working to solve all issues regarding the servers change, please notify me of all remaining bugs/glitches you may encounter, apart from you forum not being accessible.

For people getting Error 500 (Server error) it's most commonly to do with your templates.
The solution is to simply re-publish the template overall_header_new.

Hiya Rhianna, just keep trying to get into you admin control and if you can Like I did then you can tell all your members, I did this and now they all know but what I am going to do for the future is to keep a personal record of all members email addys

This is ridiculous , The techs don't work on weekends do they? SO this means it will be messed up till next week , I cant even get into my ACP now and there are images what are down that need removing .

I was actually pretty lucky. The 2 most recent server issues haven't affected much of my forum. Right now, I can access my forum, but around 10 minutes ago, even the support forum was down.

Any updates to when will the maintenance ends?

Same here, still glitches on and off, some members can access and some can't? Looks like it could be another few days yet, I have managed to notify my members but advanced warning of the maintenance would have been nice. Hope it doesn't last too long, we ALL love and miss our forums! Sad

Like what The... My widgets have no messed up , I don't get why you leave it till a Friday to start this if you don't even work on the weekends to finish it , why didn't you start it earlier in the week ? Rolling Eyes

--- actually means your forum and admin panel will be down and not accessible for HOURS and DAYS

My members are telling me they can't get to the site for hours on end, and then only through a proxy. I can't connect on my Linux machine at all with 'server not found' errors. All the smilies I've added are lost.

I can not get on, albeit not all the time. I am getting notifications of PM messages, but there is nothing in my inbox, and the sender says they are still in their outbox, anyone else got this problem?

Our private messages are going to the wrong members. I have had to close my forum until all private messages can be deleted from members outboxes. This has caused much anger on my forum. Private messages are supposed to be private and confidential.

Hi

I have had many complaints and members are furious,. Messages sent to certain members are appearing in the wrong inboxes.

I had 12 messages in my inbox that were not for me and were not sent by the said people. Some messages I sent went to several people instead of one.

I hope someone here will give us some answers about when things will be fixed? Are the techs working on the weekend??

My site has been down since very early on Friday morning (Pacific time). Yesterday I had the back office, but my site was just not there.

This morning, the Maintenance message is up in my back office and the site is still nothing but white.

I am new to forumotion. I brought my business' website here because it seemed reliable and had everything we needed. I had just completed creating the site on Thursday. And then, we were gone! An email had already gone out from my boss to everyone in the company to join. And now there is no site to join or even SEE!

As everyone else here, we need it back online, as quickly as possible. Or at least, we need a message from the company explaining what is happening and why. That's not unreasonable, considering how many people have forums here.

Can get on my forum now but having problems with things like sending a PM & using the 'today's posts' link. I couldn't get on here for a while either.

Both last night & today UK time I was sending a PM and it changed the user name to something beginning with A, I have forgotten what.

I have been told by my other half that it will take quite some doing to move all these forums to other servers & will that the techies will probably be there working on it all weekend as there is so much stuff to move.

I have lost all the images on my forum. Any images that were uploaded in my gallery have had their urls changed so if anyone has used them somewhere else the old urls don't work. This is the 4th time that all the image urls have been changed it is a little frustrating to follow up and fix every image manually is there some way this could be avoided in further updates.
