My forum is working again but I still have no posts or topics.

My forum is running slow and keeps going but i take it the sites will be ok again by tonight as the tech guys dont work all day and night and are not about at weekends

ohh one other thing my ACP is working ok all but the Misc page that is blank when you click on it, maybe the updates are to do with that side of it
Anyway im sure typlo will post when the updates are done

Guys, CHILL. They will get it back when they get it back. Please understand, changing a server can take like 5 or 6 hours. Atleast they are doing it today instead of on saturday. Please stop posting topics saying "Whats wrong with my admin panel?" Please! The Admins will lock ur topic and redirect you here. Please Read this announcement and understand that, they will be back when they are back.

I can see what your saying, however changing the servers is a big job but not something that can be done on the spur of the moment, therefore it must have been planned in advance. An announcement prior to this and with timings for the maint may have been advisable so Forum admins could have informed there users in advance and all the "problems with my forum" post may have been avoided.

Ok... My forum keeps receiving a maintenance page. But oh well... it's a change for the better.

I agree. I mean while I do enjoy coming here to the "Help" area from time to time to check stuff, I don't spend a ton of time here myself. In addition to the Forumotion hosted Forum I run, I also have a Video sharing "Extension" to my forum that's hosted through Ning that I check on as well...IRL job stuff is bound to creep in from time to time, as well as Family.

It is also understandable, that people just seeing the effects now, are making posts with concerns, and have simply missed this announcement.
I for one, would love to know if there is any way for future server or other maintenance issues, to be announced via e-mail to the Founders of the forums...a day or so in advance, as opposed to a post here...on the day/time of it happening.

The forums are now showing for me all I did was restart Firefox .

Well that was just rude. Customer service ring a bell here with anyone? Yes I am one of the techs trying to explain this mess to the members on our forum.

Server is down again on my forum. I have to admit, I'm unimpressed with the way this is getting handled. The old servers were working just fine. Adding new ones is really not going to improve anything I don't think, it was fine the way it was before. But you know techs, they always feel a need to change things even though it doesn't need it. Oh well. I guess they'll get it straightened out eventually.
