problem deleting topic and replies
I created the forum, I am the administrator. I can do anything to topics and replies (sticky, move, lock, etc.) but I cannot delete them.
I've tried 4 or 5 different ways to delete a topic, but it doesn't delete.
I would appreciate your help.
Sincerely,
Dj Onyx

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
For a topic, you should see a delete button in the moderator panel at the bottom of the topic.
To delete certain posts, there should be a delete button in the post.
Also there should be a moderate this forum link at the bottom of the page. When you press it, a page will load. Check the boxes for the topics you want to delete and press the delete button.

Hello,
Can you try clearing cache?(might be a browser problem):

Also, this is the guide on how to delete a topic:

Also, this is the guide on how to delete a topic:
To Delete a Topic.
For this can either click the delete button above your mod quick tools, or use your mod quick tools drop down menu to select 'delete this topic' and click go. It will ask you if you are sure before deleting. This totally removes the topic from your board so if it is a big one, it will affect member post counts whom have posted on the topic.

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
hi, I cleared the cache, but i still can't delete.
But I noticed that when I try to delete a topic, It doesn't ask for confirmation to delete as do all the other commandments.
I switched from phpbb2 to phpbb3, and it worked perfectly. I could delete normally. But when I switched back to bb2 again, I couldn't delete anymore.
Now the only problem is that I cannot continue to use bb3, because it ruins the skin. It makes it big and spacey and many other things that I don't like.
I don't know what else to do,
I appreciate your taking the time to help me and I hope that I don't cause you any inconvenience.

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
Is this solved then?
Did you changed or added something on your templates?
Or can you provide your forum link and PM a test account with moderation powers so we can test?

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
After using the test account, I could see the ban link in the members' profiles.

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
Hi,
The only way this is possible, aside for creating conflicting css/JS codes, that no-one would write for PHPBB2, would be via the templates.
You have modified the template: Modcp_body.
Restore it to default.
Admin panel >> Display > Templates/Moderation > Hit the next to Modcp_body.
Everything should be back to normal now

Re: problem deleting topic and replies
Hi, Thank you all for your help and support.
The problem is solved. I don't know how or why, but I switched from bb2 to bb3 and I worked it about a day or two. Then I switched back to bb2. Everything went back to normal and I could delete again.
I really appreciate all your help and support.
