Solved Images unable to Display to Members

Post by DarkGlow August 31st 2012, 3:10 pm

Hi,

I do not know what might prevent this, however:

Guests and administrators can view images in posts, however registered users (members+who are in usergroups) can not, I've tried and checked my ACP, I couldn't find anything helpful. If anyone could guide me on what to do to resolve this, I'd be excessively grateful.

Not completely sure if usergroups affect this, but I highly doubt.

Thank you in advance.

Go to AP>>General>>Categories and forums>>

On that page click the "Forum Permissions Control" tab at the top of the page, then choose a forum to see the permissions. From there you can allow who can see the images in that forum, make your changes and save your settings. Do that for each forum you have,

I've done that. But still no use.

Does the fancybox/lightbox or something affect? Cause I got it.

One more thing; some members say that they see stuff in the lines of ''Only admins are allowed to use that picture'' on top and bottom. Where did that come from lol

I can help you with the second problem. The only reason people see ''Only admins are allowed to use that picture'' on top and bottom...is because your thread settings are set to either admin or mod only.

Go to whatever thread it is > Permission > Set Members on all

Then, your users should be able to see the links and images as well.

I've just realized how blind I am.

I set it to administrators accidentally. Thank both of you. Cool
