Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
I noticed it just now myself. Wasn't a problem earlier. Clicking on Chrome's Reload/Stop icon to stop the slow load helped. Page showed up. This happened at log in, main page, and Admin Control.
My guess is they're doing maintenance at this time. Would be nice if we were informed ahead of time as to when these things are to occur.

Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
I clicked on few forumotion sites and the same thing was happening other sites worked fine. It looks like my site is loading fine now.
Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
I haven't been able to access my forums for almost 2 hours now. I finally was able to get to the index page but clicking on a forum just causes me to sit and "spin" and stay on the index page. I was on site at the time the problem started and tried closing out and re-entering the site but still no good results.
Are they doing some kind of scheduled forum maintenance now? I tried another forumotion site and got the same thing. I am not having trouble accessing any other sites on the web and no trouble accessing the Help forum.

Hello,
We have no news of maintenance being performed right now, I'll ask and forward the thread however.

I was able to access the forums finally without doing this. It appears the bug or whatever the issue was has corrected itself. Thanks.

Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
I do not know if it is the forum or not, but I noticed that it is having trouble loading illiweb.com . I just tried to go to one of my forums, and it would not load, too. It must be related to www.illiweb.com , because I notice it says waiting for it at the bottom right corner.prescott50 wrote:Is Forumotion having server problems today? Thanks for letting us know, APE!
A few members have reported this issue on my forum as well, but I'm not having any trouble. I've noticed a large portion of the members that are having this issue reside in Canada, if that information helps at all.

Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
I am now able to get to my forum it took about 2-3 min. to do so. Then it took about the same amount of time to sign in. I went to the admin panel and did that and that took about the same amount of time. I tried this as directed here in support,
If your forum is undergoing a very minor issue that you can't cope with, then try resynching the forum. Resynching your forum will not hurt it, but it will help fix the small bugs and ticked settings for your forum. So, it won't hurt to give it a shot.
To resynchronize your forum:
1. Head off to your Administration Panel, and then click the General tab. (Be sure that you have the Admin Panel set in Advanced Mode
Forum -> 'Configuration' section
Spoiler:
Now that you are on the Configuration page, scroll all the way down the page until you see the Misc options* table. You'll then see at the bottom that you are able to resyncronize your forum. Tick the option box to do so, and then click Save.
It did not help. Any suggestions?

Everyone clear your browsers' caches and histories. All your forums load about two seconds for me.

Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
Seems to be back to normal again here..at least for now..I advise others to try another browser
Chrome eg. clear cookies and re-sync in admin panel

Re: [Only Topic] Slow Forum Loading (illiweb.com issue)
All of the forums I frequent (with the exception of this one) are loading painfully slow and on some they do not seem to load at all. I cleared cookies, cache, all of that... I have also tried multiple browsers. Still painfully slow. If it wasn't just on forumotion sites I would assume it was my internet. However it is only with forumotion...
Also I am not 100% sure this is related, though I suspect it is... But I appear to be facing issues with connecting to the chatbox on any of the sites I go to. A box for it is there however it is just... blank. Nothing in it. No log in options or anything.
EDIT: I have managed to speak with a few members of one of my forums and one of them can access the forum just fine but the other is facing the same loading problems.
