New update

Facebook connect: new options

Dear members,

[New option] New options on your Facebook connect Like10

In order to perform our service and perform your forum SEO, we have developped new options on your Facebook connect.
This new option is is entirely in keeping with recent Google + update

1. Like button

Right now, a like button is available. You can chose to add or not this option via your Admin panel>>Modules>> Social networks>>Facebook connect

The button will appear on the top of each post:

2. Your Facebook information on your forum

Now, new members while registering via facebook application will have their facebook avatar & username directly on the forum:

Registration:

Facebook avatar + username:

Avatar & username on the forum:

[New option] New options on your Facebook connect Forum_14

Note: If you update your avatar & username on Facebook, they will not change on the forum

Problem with this update for punbb is the placement of the button, it puts it in a undesired position. In any case, I think the toolbar facebook share button is all the facebook share options needed for a forum, It shares the topic you are on too just like the button, so I turned this facebook like button option off.

Its too late for a screenshot I turned it off and removed the replacement iframe from the template, but I can tell you it put the button in the crumb links to the right side of the topic title.

Buttercup, hello!

In PhpBB2 and phpBB forums I see the button as soon as I create the function. But PhpBB3 Invision and the button will not appear. Why? Should I create a new question? bwi

Same problem here. The button doesn't appear in Invision forum.When the Log in option appear, after the "ΟR", the facebook log in button is missing and instead it says "connect with facebook" but haw no link when i hover the mouse cursor over it.

Anyone who wants to see what i mean, can press the link under my avatar which connects to my forum, and then try to connect with facebook.

I'm with chrome but i 've tested it also with firefox and explorer. Same thing, no button.
Afterwards i tested it with my android smartphone with dolphin browser and there was a button, just like your screenshot. It is a mystery!

So i loged in my forum with facebook, through my smartphone and dolphin browser and it says: this application is not correctly adjusted for connection with facebook.

Does it see my forum as an application? Does my forum need some kind of adjustment inside the code or something else?

Excellent update!
Like button works fine, but Facebook connect does not. I got the message "Yours App ID is not valid".
On facebook page I got App ID consisting of 16 decimal numeric characters. App Secret is hexadecimal number long 32 characters. When adding the platform I selected "Website".
Can somebody tell me what I did wrong?
