New Member Registration
I have received e-mails advising of new members registering on my site, however, they do not appear in the list of members although their profile shows up when clicking the link in the e-mail notification.
I need to authorise new members, but cannot find them on my forum. Am I missing the obvious or do I have a problem?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you,
Damned 1a

Re: New Member Registration
I have now received e-mails advising of new members wishing to register, with a link to allow activation.
This has solved the problem, however, is this because all new accounts require Administrator activation?
Cheers,
Bob AKA Damned 1a

Re: New Member Registration
Hello,
If you have the following set here:
Admin Panel > Users & Groups > User Options:
New accounts activation : User (By-email)
> Save
They should be able to activate their account by e-mail. You wouldn't need to activate them manually.

Re: New Member Registration
Thank you for your reply, if I set it up as suggested, (which I fully understand by the way), would I then lose control of authorising accounts? In other word could anyone then register without my agreement?Jophy wrote:Hello,
