Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
I've got a quick question for staff here just to see what I should do. Over a month ago I was having to talk to Buttercup about a domain issue. It was going fine until I asked her to explain the reason for something, and she's now been ignoring my question for over a month now which is just ridiculous.
What should or do, or how can I take this further?

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Did you try creating a topic for that question? If it's not a private matter, it should be posted on the support section. We don't allow support on PM unless it's a password request or you're requested by a staff member to send some details on PM about a problem.T.R24 wrote:I've got a quick question for staff here just to see what I should do. Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Buttercup sent a PM to me. We then discussed the problem with a few PM's sent back and forth. Then my final question (directly related to our foscussion) has just been ignored. I'm not making a new thread as it is directly related to our private discussion.

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
T.R24, she gets very busy and by now your message would not be readable by her, can you send her a new message and I'm sure she will get back to you shortly. She has returned to the office from the weekend a few short hours ago.

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
In the last month I've sent 2 messages asking for confirmation of whether or not she received the message that I'm looking for an answer to. Both have been ignored. I thought she would at least have the decency to reply to confirm with a yes or no? Am I expecting too much or what?

Buttercup is very busy, so try sending another private message.

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Hehe, you know how it is when you get busy, right ? You're about to do one thing, but then you get called or reminded to do something else and you end up doing that instead. Long story short I have forgotten about many things and find out about them days, or even weeks later !
Sometimes that happens here with my PMs, or my friends list. I see the notification and then I totally forget about !! I guess you could call me forgetful

I'll try one more time.
I understand people are busy etc and that's fair enough for the volunteers on here, but you can't just be forgetful when you're getting paid to do a job.
My last 3 reminders have been read and not replied to, I highly doubt that's forgetful.

Support questions need to be posted in the support section. This topic is about the staff, not support issues.

Still nothing. So do I just accept that my question will always be avoided or what? Any advice, staff?

I will try to ask her as to why she's not answering your PM's to her. I'll just post here in case I receive an answer.T.R24 wrote:T.R24 wrote:SLGray wrote:Buttercup is very busy, so try sending another private message.

I got a reply there. Still no proper answer, but I think I'll just leave it at that.

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Good Evening dear Staff,
I am here to ask you, people in ForumGreek and not in ForuMotion, where can they promote their forum? There is no official ForumGreek forum like here. Is there anywhere we could promote our forums to?
Regards.

If your forum language is in English, then you are allowed to promote your forum.
Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Hello dear Base,
The forums in ForumGreek are in Greek. But unfortunately there is no Greek Support to promote Greek Forums. This is the reason why i am asking you where forums could be promoted.
Regards.

Unfortunately, we do not allow promotion of non-English forums here. You will have to find somewhere else to promote your forum.
Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
Hello dear Base,
ForumGreek supports a lot of forums and that gives a lot of users that don't know how to write or read English and they are having all sorts of problems with their forums. One Greek Community of ForuMotion would help a lot all ForumGreek Forums. Are there any thoughts of creating a Greek Support?
Regards.

Re: Ask the staff (No support here)
There was a Greek Support made with permission, though I'm not sure what has been going on there recently; first it was visible, then it was in maintenance forever, then it was visible again.

Also you can check out the forums that offer promotions - https://help.forumotion.com/f17-computers-internet . There are many forums that allow members to promote their forums. Also you search the Greek forums for ones that offer promotion services.

ForuMotion would love to hire a Greek Pro-Admin from what I've heard, there is no word of an official Greek support forum as there is no-one within the company who can speak Greek.
If your up for a challenge to work within FM, you should first need to speak fluent French, then get in contact with Buttercup and she can further assist you.

Dude, How can you forget everything? it's like riding a bike once you get used to riding one you never forget.
My advice to you is to start with the basics and work your way up, there is a lot of information on this help forum to get you thru nearly everything. Good Luck.
