Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
I can't use usertag funtion for username which has a space like this: @Hue Bat. How can type to tag this user in a post? I have read your instruction but i can't do it, please tell me more detail. Thanks!
Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
Hi faver,
That would be one of the limitations of this option I believe.

Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
Awesome!! To cover up the limitations.. How about only usernames that are NOT causing problems be banned?
Like spaces in the usernames etc can be banned? Or how about a nice tutorial to ban them?

Glad you got it to work now lol sorry about the missing text in the tutorial this was in there but as butter cup did not add its a s code the system thought it was asking for the @ name not a code to show how its meant to be lolfaver wrote:Yup, I got it!APE wrote:If you have a use name with a space you have to add " " example @ange tuteurfaver wrote:I can't use usertag funtion for username which has a space like this: @Hue Bat. Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
@APE can you try to mention me once" wanna see it
Also, what would happen if I get mentioned in a topic that I do not have permission to see? Same with hash tags, what if any hash tags that I am following are tagged in a post I am not authorized to see? O.O

Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
@Rhino.Freak if you are tagged in a topic that has a Hashtag it will still work but if you type # @Ape then it will not work it wil find the @ Ape first and the Hashtag will not work so if you want to use the 2 in the same thread then your have to do it like thisRhino.Freak wrote:@APE can you try to mention me once" wanna see it

I don't really understand the use of having tags inside code
Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
I was trying to elaborate to our members how it works so I added the mention tag inside of a code, then added the examples of how they would look like without the code brackets. @Hatsune Miku

You didn't understand the issue, the problem is, using the @ tag FOLLOWED by a Code Box, results in bug.
Example coming through
- Code:
@Buttercup blabla this a random code
Wait this is solved now

If you really want to make tags work within code tags I'll have a look what I can do for you.
Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
That issue should be fixed now.

Can someone help me with this? Why am I not able to check the "Your username tagged on a topic" button?

That option not available for this system. The only option is the toolbar.

Re: [New option] Tag @member on your forum
thank you!
I've got the toolbar activated; however, it doesn't seem like users are able to check their notifications via their handheld devices (at least while in full site mode). Any insight on that?

Yea, I feel you @scubascaff,
I'm mobile a lot of the times and the toolbar is a no-no for me when browsing via my mobile device.
