Watch this topic for replies issue/problem.
First topic message reminder :
Hello i have problem in my forum with "Watch this topic for replies" i am getting notifications from every post where i post a message... I no need even click on "Watch this topic for replies" Also sometimes i am getting notifications from random threads where i am not even post any messages and i am not even click on "Watch this topic for replies"
this is really uncomfortable for me and my forum members when you watching thread with out clicking on "Watch this topic for replies" and you getting notifications from post which you don't care

Re: Watch this topic for replies issue/problem.
As you can see for yourself, I posted several times and the option was not selected, so I will not automatically watching this topic!TheShaka wrote:@JScript Yes but look how long ago... Post 1 message more and you will automatically watching this topic...
Try to empty the cache of your browser or something,

I could see this also with my profile! But even then I post and not "watch the topics"...TheShaka wrote:@JScript

But this is only happening in your forum because in my test forum this does not happen!
Have you made any changes to the template responsible for the profile?
Since the tagging system has been implemented by Forumotion, remove this code below, he's placement in all pages:
- Code:
var domtags = {
question: 'Do you want to tag a user?',
username: 'Enter the username:',
notify: 'Do you want to notify the user via PM?',
notif_subject: 'I tagged you in a post!',
notif_message: 'Hello {USERNAME}, I tagged you in the following post:'
};
jQuery.getScript('http://goo.gl/bTwrLJ');

Re: Watch this topic for replies issue/problem.
Use the option to force default templates. It should be above the templates.

@JScript @SLGray
Done we make 1 step UP and 2 step back..
Step up:
I am not automatically watching topic after reply!
The step back...
All my accounts profile automatically change:
Always notify me of replies : Yes
Display a notification when new replies are written : Yes
(so if my few accounts back to this wrong configuration probably other member who change to NO again have Yes...) So i must change again to No...
Every new user profile configuration is again wrong:
Always notify me of replies : Yes
Display a notification when new replies are written : Yes

Create a topic or an announcement somewhere on your forum that states what the settings are after creating an account.

@TheShaka,

Re: Watch this topic for replies issue/problem.
The problem is when a new account is made it was saying Yes to all the settings in the profile under Preferences so with some help of changing the templates it was fixed now it's back to set to Yes again and this was over night.
I think we need to ask the tech guys to change it in the data or see why it even changed in the first place.
I think what i will do is make a report to the tech team my self telling them what is going on with just this one forum as there is none else having the problem on the forum.
there must be something we are missing.
