#1432 Problem with newsletters reception
Hello
Some admin try to send some newsletters. They perfectly receive the receipt confirmation, the newsletter is archived properly but nobody receives the NL

Thanks for reporting the following information:
- Url of your forum
- Your statut on the forum
- Email provider (hotmail, gmail, outlook...)
- Newsletter archived or not?
- Do you receive the receipt confirmation? yes or not.
- Do you (and your members) receive the final newsletter
WARNING: Without those information, we won't take into account your complaint.
We strongly advise you not to send new Newsletters for the moment and use mass private messages so that the system not being overloaded

I do not know if my members did or not because they (except 2 of my mods) do not even know there is a newsletter they should be reciving. This was a one time email/newsletter.

That is not possible, this newsletter I was trying to send out was the first time I have EVER used the Newsletter system. Now Ape sent a test newsletter using a test account i provided him and it worked, but he only sent it to a specific user group, this one I sent was to every user on the forum. I received that error message but it was the 1st time I have ever used the system.

I can confirm that this problem is right on what brandon_g has said I sent a news letter to just one user to run a test on the system and the news letter was sent but as brandon_g has said the news letter will not send to all the members when sent by brandon_g
I used a test account to make my test and made a new group in that account name then sent it to my self on that account. the problem is not that there is lots of news letters getting sent to soon it's a bug in the founders account I think.

Date of NL (Now I don't exactly remmeber but I believe it was the very begining of February.)
Account: Founder
Email: I did it through the NL system in the acp with regular email not the noreply one.
Which members: ALL Members

And never received any NL? Beacuse Ape told us he managed to receive a NL by sending a NL to only one member :scratch:Maybe I didn't well understand the explanation...

Ok, Ape sent one NL to a group which I received. However when I try to send one out to all members I receive that error message in the above screenshot.

i used a test account @Buttercup and the news letter was sent to the Email address that the test account was made with and it was not my Email address it was @brandon_g account.
This test Email is in the sent box on the account on that forum.
The problem is that brandon_g can not send the news letter on he's account it comes up saying that he can not send a NL at this time. but anyone that has an admin account can do it as long as there not founder.
I am really lost on why it will let an admin of a forum send the news letter but not the founder. I did a test on my forum and it's working fine so this is not a problem with all forums but it is more to just this forum or account.

The problem may not even be that the Founder can not send a NL, the problem may be no admin can send a newsletter to ALL MEMBERS, I have never tried sending a to a group because, you only tried sending one out to a group, you never tried sending one out TO ALL MEMBERS which is what I believe the problem may be, if I try to send a newsletter to ALL MEMBERS I get the error message seen in the screenshot, however, I (and other admin) may and probably can send one to a group. I think it is that it simply will not allow a newsletter to be sent to all members, so it gives me an error message.

I tried to send a newsletter today. Provided, however, that it was sent. But no one has received the newsletter. Does anyone know how long will this discomfort?

@Ape I have demoted the test account because it was really meant as a training account, I will try it from it (I will give temporary acp privileges again) but it must wait until I get home because right now I am on a school computer and I do not like going on my Admin account unless really nessecary (emergency) when I am at school (public/shared computer).
I will do this when I get home though.

I did indeed get the same error message when trying sending a NL from the test account. So it is not just the founder, it will not allow NL'S to be sent to ALL USERS .
