Re: Upload Files
Hi @premiereTv,
You can activate the Attachments management on your forum, or host your files on a free file sharing service, such as mediafire.

Re: Upload Files
Hello @premiereTV ,
In order to activate the attachments, you need to go to Administration Control Panel > General > Messages and e-mails > Attachments > Allow attachments : Yes
In addition, if you would like to let your members upload attachments, you need to fix the permissions for each usergroup by going to Administration Control Panel > General > Categories and forums > Edit the permissions of a category > Create Attachment :
Then, you will be able to see a section about the attachments, below the editor, similar to this:

Re: Upload Files
Hello,
Unfornatuelly there is no kind of protection that can be bought to prevent your forum from reported via the litigation tool. I will say however, if you have truly have done nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about... They wont shut down a site because someone is jealous, theh have to find evidence to validate the complaint, or else you will be fine .
Now if you trying to say you have hacks on your forum... May I suggest removing them asap?
As for the consquences.. That is up to the litigation team, it can a warning or stright shut down, it is up to them.

Re: Upload Files
The litigation team is smart enough to tell the difference between a real report and a false one. As long as you follow Forumotion's Terms of Service, then you have nothing to worry about. Normally when people threaten you with hacking and such, it's just empty threats which you should ignore, as they usually cannot back up their words.
If your forum is found to be breaking the ToS, you will first get a warning in your Administration panel. However, if the contents you have are really severe ( see illicit contents of the ToS ), then your forum may be banned without prior notice.
As long as you follow the rules, you'll have a long and happy stay..

If your forum has none of the stuff stated in the TOU then your good. Also just from a personal stand point I don't see what being a woman has to do with knowing if your forum is in compliance witb the rules or not. Woman are just as capable as men, in fact may even be smarter... I know a woman who has a forum on forumotion and who used to have an account here was awesome as hell with code and CSS... So look through your forum, if no content listed in the TOU is on your forum, then you are good
