Background help

So I know this is pretty crazy (and probably really simple) but I need help changing my background on my forum. I upload an image, use the correct url and everything and click save (and it looks okay in the preview) but when I go to actually view my forum the image isn't there! 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it working well now?

It could be that the background is set by your CSS styleshhet.  You will need to check to see if there is a CSS code for it.

Okay so it turns out the background color was overriding the picture so thanks for that one! Now, how can I make the picture just one image? As in the image is showing correctly... but there are several smaller images instead of one large background image. 

Also, is there anyway I can make my image show through forum? As in, you can still see the background image through the forum categories? I just need them to be translucent. Thanks!

No, but now that I'm viewing it form another PC the images aren't alligned the same as my other monitor. (Granted, they aren't the same size, but I figured it should still render the same image the same way no matter what the monitor size...) I'm really sorry guys, I really am terrible at this! I don't even mind if it's tiled its whatever at this point, but I just need it to render the same way! So very sorry!
