Request a Username Change!

First topic message reminder :


Do you want to request a username change? If so, read the guidelines below and fill out the form to request a username.

Rules

1. You're only allowed to request a username change once a month and twice a year.
   
2. Members with warnings are not allowed to request a username change. However you can see how to remove a warning here.
   
3. Ensure the username you're wanting is not already taking by searching here.
   
4. You must fill out the form below to request a username. Those not in the proper format will be denied.
   
5. Private Messaging a staff members for a username request is not allowed.
   
6. Managers will keep this thread up to date with all username changes.

Hi @SLGray

I did check the member list before I requested the name change.

When you search the username GuardianAngel it show's no such user as per my image that I uploaded.

Perhaps because the way it's spelled, however they joined in 2009, 12 years ago without a single post and never logged on since.

I'm not sure how this forum operates but on my forum I review from time to time, anyone that has not logged on to our forum for a specific time frame gets deleted. They shouldn't take up space and a username while they contribute nothing to the forum IMO.

I'm not on staff anymore but just to let you know that sometimes usernames with lots of capitals etc for some reason don't always show in the search.

The names are case sensitive. That's the reason. If you don't write it exactly how it is you won't be able to find the user. The username like that is "GuardianAnGeL".

When I copied and pasted the username you wanted in the search box, I got those 2 accounts.

@Derri and @TheCrow Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense and is good information to have for my own forum.

I apologize to everyone, I didn't mean for it to be a debate. I wanted to understand why my search was coming up with no users but now with cases sensitive and lots of caps ino, it's understandable.

Make your own topic name it Lost founders password.
