Auto Welcome Message upon registration
Good morning,
I believe since I copied and pasted my welcome message in the box it showed up all weird I had a member register and I joined as a test member to make sure the auto welcome worked properly when I received it it was all cut up like major space in between each sentence may you please tell me how to get in the Admin to re write it, and after I re write and not copy and paste it and it happens again I will come back and ask again?
How once in Admin do I get to the auto welcome setting?
Thanks hope you are having a good weekend,
Jan

Post a screenshot of how it looks while you type it in the box and one after you save it (in a pm).

Re: Auto Welcome Message upon registration
Good morning,
Below is what I typed in the Welcome PM box
Welcome to Bipolar And Support,
We are all along the path to hope and healing!
"Automatic Banning of Spam Users,!"
We do not tolerate any form of Advertising that does not pertain to the group. This group is for those struggling and looking for a support community for Mental Health and Wellness of any Disorder. The members / friends are here to participate in a supportive safe, non judgmental environment! We do "NOT" allow our Message / Forum Board to get clogged and overturned by *Spammers*!
We are all equals, and we treat each other all on the same level of respect. We are all coming from the same struggles.
I want people to know that here we understand that there are days we can not get out of our beds let alone on a computer, and on line. But when you hit that point that is the exact time you should, we all need a support system, from someone, some where, just reach out, if not here, *anywhere*!
Instead of looking at rejections, or dis appointments as a sign of failure here @ Bipolar And Support we tend to lean on, and remind each other, that when we take a risk, and we do every day, things might not go as planned this time, but the efforts more times than not put us one step closer to whatever kind of recovery we are climbing towards.
By reflecting back in postings, at other past failures we have dealt with, we may be able to see that each time those failures have put us on a path to something *BIGGER & BETTER!*
We can't allow the dis appointments of the past compromise the promise of our future! The beauty in life is there is always another opportunity, another tomorrow.
PS/ There is a topic (Questions & Answers) as well in the "Menu Bar a FAQ" on how to utilize certain groups functions upon confusion, but we are here as Administrators to answer and help you with any concerns you may have. See the *Contact Us* topic as Laura and I (Jan) email's are there for use or simply just send us a PM (private message) any concerns even involving members are kept confidential!
We all have been new before most of us are as of now, we understand the way of feeling and getting to know something and or someone (s) new, everyone is very empathetic, and no judgments are past, so feel free to use the introduction topic when ready, or read, and post where ever you feel comfortable =D

That is how it appears I did not when I signed up as a test member that it did leave a great deal of amount of space when I paragraphed it, no biggy but it does double let me see if I still have the test member PM saved..
It is below the way it appeared to me when I registered as a test member and you will see it doubled thanks:

Yes the PM is repeating itself. My apologies for taking so long to get back my sons is graduating and I have been very busy=D
I do not understand, if I am using Chrome and saving pass words etc. what does that have to do with other people receiving a PM through the group? Confused is all?
Have a good day will respond quicker less errands to run!

Hey no problem, family comes 1st. Congrats to him by the way .
Has this been doing this since you activated the feature or just since a certain time period? If the latter, had you made any changes to the message before it started happening?

Do you see this on the support forum?
I believe you are referring to the messages that appear at the bottom which are called Topic Review. It shows the conservation you have had. It usually shows the last four messages.
