Title of Main Page and User Issue
Hello, I have just started setting up my forum, and have come across a couple issues.
1. In the Title on main page, I see "Free forum : BurkeKnight Enterprises Community Forum"
How can I change, so it does not show the Free Forum, before my site name?
Also, how to set so site name is always in front on title of all other parts of forum.
Ex.: BurkeKnight Enterprises Community Forum : Topic Title
2. When I went to register another account on my own forum, as a test account, it said the Username was already taken, yet there was only 1 user, and that is Admin. The Name I tried to use: DeadMan (I had to try DeadMann after, and that worked.)
3. How many free forums are we able to start?

Re: Title of Main Page and User Issue
1. Try going to ACP (Admin panel)-->General-->Configuration-->Forum name/title. Take out the free forum... Save.
2. Try going to ACP-->General-->Security-->Disallow subscriptions with the most commonly used spam names?--> tick NO and save.
3. As many as you want, but it is recommended only make as many as you can keep active and maintain .
Hope this helps,
-Brandon

1. If it was there, I'd not have asked. LOL
That's the first place I looked.
2. Thank you, but I wonder how that name got listed... Although, it would be a nice catchy name for a bot... LOL
3. Only reason asked, is I may do one for another site of mine, that needs a support forum.
Also, just noticed something else... When try to use Mentions, it does not notify, nor link to the member's profile. Any ideas?

Hello,.
For number 2... Not saying that censor is the brightest, but it has been the known cause of similar registeration issues with other forums. Disabling this, usually fixes it.
Also, I the mention system should send you a notification via the toolbar when someone mentions your username. Make sure your profile settings are set up to properly notify you of everything you want to be notified of.

@brandon_g
The mentions do not seem to work at all, on my site.
I have tried all variations I know of, and nothing works at all.
They do not link, nor notify.
Only options in Notifications:
Also, still trying to look for where the Free Forum is added to main page, but can't find it anywhere.
However, I also see it on main page of this forum, if look at name on my browser tab.

Re: Title of Main Page and User Issue
Hello,
Have you enabled the mention system?
Ok give this a try for your main page title/browser tab problem: Go to ACP-->General--> Find 'Search Engine' on there, there will be a thing that says main page. Take the Free forum part out of this and save.

How do you enable it? I've looked all over ACP (Invision) and not seen one word about mentions.
Tab idea worked, thank you.
