User ban for posting

I was wondering if there is an option somewhere that would allow me to ban individual members from posting. I use PHPBB 3 and I don't currently see an option pertaining to this.

Sorry there is not an option.
The only way to do this is to create a group asnd set the permissions for that group.

Would there ever be a possibility of such an option ever being created?
If not then you may lock and archive this thread.
