custom domain direct to forum.forumactif.com
I have my custom domain yesterday and work,
here is my custom domain: http://forum.jeffarts.cf that will direct to jheb.forumotioncom using CNAME.
but after I wake up this night, I can't access it and directing to http://forum.forumactif.com
When i do personalized domain name in admin panel it say
The supplied domain name is not well configured
Your CNAME must redirect to : jheb.forumotion.com
I check on my domain host it well configured.
Note:
if in blogger, this meant to unverified properties, that can be configured here https://www.google.com/webmasters/verification/home?hl=en
But im confusing about this forumotion, which i can't delete unverify domain or The domain that already verified yesterday, it doesn't work now?

Hello
First of all, make sure you read the Cname tutorial. Then Hello
If you get this error message, it means your Cname is not well configured;)
I advise you to start from the beginning. There are three information to enter
1- Time to live:
It represents the time your members will keep the page on cache. Choose a long period of time (around 15 days is enough)
2- Name:
It is the particle before the dimaine name. For example:
name.your_domain.uk
If you want to have your forum on www.your_domain.uk, in that case the name =www
If you want to have your forum on forum.your_domain.uk, in that case the name = forum.... etc
Your can read Gandi tutorial to learn how to set up a domain name: http://wiki.gandi.net/en/dns/zone/cname-record
3- Value:
It is the url targeted, the url of your forum without http://
You can watch the following video:
The video is in French but I think it can help
Best regards

Re: custom domain direct to forum.forumactif.com
well, i did it previously and work perfectly yesterday as I say. its not work after i wake up this time.
Name: forum.jeffarts.cf
Type: CNAME
TTL: 300
Target: adress.jheb.forumotion.com
But, i can't input the domain in Personalized Domain Name in control panel, it say "The supplied domain name is not well configured, Your CNAME must redirect to : jheb.forumotion.com"
its weird because Its work this morning.
EDIT:
I change the target to jheb.forumotion.com (without adress.) and work!!, the domain has been validated.
I don't know which one trigger this issue but If my domain has further problem I will need help.
