popup problem

Some members have the following problem. Every time when they post a message they receive this message: Are you sure you want to leave this page and it has 2 choices - leave this page or stay on this page. How do they get rid of this pop up? Clearing cookies and browser has no effect

For Chrome, install the "Adblock Pro" (by Adblock Pro) extension and see if that reduces the number of pop-ups

Disable “Scripting” by going to: Internet Options > Security > Custom Level > Scripting > Disable Active scripting

or...

Click on the gear wheel icon at the top right and select Internet options from the menu. Now, select the Security tab and click the ‘Custom level…’ button. Scroll down to Scripting, then under Active Scripting, click disable to turn off JavaScript. Then click OK.

What happens if they click the buttons in the pop up?

If you click on leave this page, you'll leave the page, and if you click on stay on this page you'll stay on that page.

When you click, leave the page, where exactly do you leave to? Where are you taken to?

When they click on stay than it's "blocked" so you can't do anything
When they click on leave then the pop-up will go away and you can continue sending a message. You won't go anywhere but you will also not be "blocked"
