[Only Topic] Forum Time Out
05.02.2016 10:11:21
I'm not here to complain. I just want to bring the serious time out issues to FM's attention. We are experiencing time outs when posting/replying on our forum "Your request timed out. Please retry the request". I realise it's beyond your control in many cases. Time outs happen on this forum and mine.

Are you still getting this issue? I have not encountered it yet.

Re: [Only Topic] Forum Time Out
Hello,
Forumotion is well aware of the time out issues, it has been happening on and off for almost a year and a half or more now, they have made efforts to resolve the issues in the past and have managed to do so, however, everytime they resolve it, a few months later it returns and continues to happen on and off.
As SLGray said, lately none of us have had it happen on either our forum or this support forum, usually we can when this issue occurs.
When did this recent bout of time outs start for you again? When did it start again?
-Brandon

I hope that it is okay to step in here. I was about to report the same problem.
It started yesterday. When posting - I go to send it, find myself logged out and post lost. We also have the javascript to keep the post - which also worked until yesterday. It also clears all of the posts-since last visit. Very irritating. But, I am patient. Members also began complaining yesterday. I don't know if this is the same issue, but it has never happened before.
Thanks.

Re: [Only Topic] Forum Time Out
As posted, I first noticed it this morning 10:11 EDST. I'm patient and know it will be eventually resolved. I'm currently copy and pasting to get around the issue. Just wanted to give FM a heads up. It's annoying, but there's a work around.

Re: [Only Topic] Forum Time Out
Problems resolved at my end. No timeouts since late this afternoon. This (FM) was the only forum(s) I was having trouble with, all other forums I belong to worked fine.
I will leave this topic in progress as another member on this topic is having issues.
