SSL Issues
Hello
I have a forum (For months) and today I logged to see an SSL error. This placed my forum with a red lock for all members. I have checked the administrator panel and it says SSL is being installed.. Even thought I already bought it and I am not sure what's going but if it's reinstalling it and this takes the weekend then this may not be good. Any reasons for this issue?

Hello,
How long have you had your ssl certificate? Did you just purchase it or have you had it for some time? What is the url to your forum as well.

About 5-6 hours prior to this topic, I was posting a topic and when I was done writing it I posted but the paged timeout and when I had to reload I had this issue here. And the SSL issue began. I believe the installation thingy also started with that.

That's also an issue people facing in addition to that dangerous site lock for those whom it worked. Try a different browser if you are using chrome.

Yes am hoping this is some temporary issues or something. Forum post and content is filtered/moderated nothing explicit or wrong just a gaming forum so no reason for it be 'reported' there. I am not seeing any reasons for such behaviors for now. And it's a first time issue as well.

skouliki wrote:did you add something? java ..widget ..that could cause this
I did a https://www.whynopadlock.com check and there was a java code (SCM weirdly enough) which was giving an error however this code was there since the start so I have deleted it however still same issue. I have also google for such errors and most replies are asking to contact the SSL companies which I cannot do since it's from forum motion that I got everything

skouliki wrote:did you try to put the forum back to http and check your console for errors?
Yeah, Even tried to go through previous redirects and nothing. We doing general checks all around to see if there is something but I strongly believe this is a error not from our side more from the host and not forum motion either. But I cannot contact them nor be sure. Still looking

Re: SSL Issues
Hello i am also getting a problem looking at your forum what i will do is make a full report about this right now for you.
The problem is it's now Friday and the office will be closed soon for the weekend so it may not get seen before Monday but i will try my best.
If it's not seen by 5pm my time (UK time zone - GMT) then my advice is to turn it off in your ACP and then your forum will go back to HTTP address so it will be safe for your members to use again until we can get help on this matter.
EDIT:
My report is now sent 15:58:16 / 10.27.2017

Re: SSL Issues
Good news our head office has fixed the problem but please note not all of your pages will be safe right now as we had to reset your Account so you will have the message in the ACP "SSL is being installed..." until monday, but on monday it will be completely finished.
we are sorry for the mishap on your account but everything should be working ok now.
