Is this allowed?

So I was wondering if this category is allowed.....its about dark humor? is this forum type subject allowed?

I know to add disclaimers and other such things that the site contains mature and sensitive subjects and i'll add age restrictions to make the site for an older audience just wondering if such a forum is allowed? No nudity will be added ofcourse and the site will be privatized so only registered users can view the entire site through verification as well.

I'm also asking because I read this.....

Well I would suppose it would all depend on the dark humor itself. I mean if you have no nudity, your not discussing anything illilegal then you may be fine. It all depends though on the content itself. Discussing 'taboo' stuff is not illilegal and forumotion only cares that you aren't breaking the law in any way. I guess it would also depend on if it is violent, etc.

There are a number of factors that are in play. Generally we try to say that if a 13 year old can view it safely, then you should be fine. That is a good rule of thumb to follow.

Other then that, we really can not say for sure what is and is not acceptable.

Dark humor forum I plan on making it for a mature only demographic and not intended for kids so that's why I am putting it on a private setting/age restriction so that way kids won't view the forum at all and if someone is actually "racist" and spreading actual hate and etc they will be removed asap.

The forum will be privatized and will have an age restriction with a pop-up message stating something like....

I got counters for such a thing for those who try to put in a fake age on the site.

You have to put in mind that you can not trust anyone to put the real age in the setup of their account.

I mean you don't put your real name in the forum on your account you put a nick name and if I wanted I could say I'm 16 if I want here and all forums I use but really I'm 42

We have NO tools to hand that will make you put your real age and then prove your age.
My advice is even putting your forum on hide to non members would not stop under age seeing it after they make an account.

Which if I do find anyone under 18 and lied its an instant IP ban from the forum.

Main problem is how you going to prove their under 18 or not? I mean there is no definitive way to on the internet. Ape is right, I could put any age I like and it is unlikely your going to be able to prove it otherwise unless I want you too.

To be honest it's not worth it. Just being responsible for your forum and the possibility of under-age members seeing in-appropriate age content. Not worth the hassle.
