Topic URL / Link Redirects to a Different Topic
Technical Details
Forum version : #phpBB2
Position : Founder
Concerned browser(s) : Mozilla Firefox
Who the problem concerns : All members
When the problem appeared : Since I tried viewing the topic today
Forum link : pwgenesis.forumotion.com
Description of problem
Anytime I try to view the Topic: pwgenesis.forumotion.com/t43-fortune-2018It automatically redirects me to Topic: http://pwgenesis.forumotion.com/t1-site-navigation-tutorial-video
This just started happening today when I logged on and tried to view the Topic (it was made a handful of days ago and didn't redirect to my knowledge then)
Right before I noticed this, I was making some other topics, in a different sub-forum and I ended up double-posting it. The top Topic in that forum ALSO redirected me, and it was to the same Topic (t1-site-navigation-video) but the bottom Topic that was double-posted did not. I deleted the top double-post. That is when I started clicking other topics on the forum to see if they would redirect, but I found only one other topic that redirected (t43-fortune-2018)
Any help on what the issue could be and how to resolve the URL redirect?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Topic URL / Link Redirects to a Different Topic
Hello @AnyColor,
It is an automatic protection deployed by the forum when a user has a suspicious behavior, which can be assimilated to SPAM. This is often the case when you open many topics or post many messages in a very short time. To protect itself, the forum simply redirects the user to the /t1- topic (even if it no longer exists).
Just clear your cache to fix the issue.

Shadow

That worked @shadow thank you very much.
I thought it may of been something along those lines. Transferring over many posts from our old zeta site.
Cheers!
