Chatroom issues

Hello

We are having chat room issues on our forum www.kitchenwitchhearth.com
The messages are not showing and everyone has to keep hitting refresh to get the comments to show.

It has happened on different dates and happens to everyone logged in. Whether they are on a phone, tablet or laptop.

Any ideas?

Can I ask you for some more information so i know if it's just a site problem or our end.

Have you gave other browsers a go to see if the problem is still there?
What browsers are you all using ?
Do you have any templates changed ?
Have you any JavaScript's running on your forum?

We have been running the chat room for several years with no issues. Various browers, various users, various phones/tablets/laptops and from various countries. All fine up to last month. Nothing on the forum has been changed.

I have ran some tests on my test forums and my live forum and can not recreate the problem.
is the chatroom the one hosted by us or is it some other chat box hosted outside of our system's ?

Did you mean to list PC? I do not see it listed.

Are many users use it at one time?  If yes, this is a know issue.  When many are using it, it will become laggy.

Only 5 or 6 at a time. It doesn't lag - it just foesn't update unless you refresh the page.

So if someone else send a message, your message does not appear, too?

My message shows in the chat room, I just can't see anyone elses. And they are the same. They can see their own if they type, but no other messages come up until the page is refreshed.

I mean in the chatbox, not the box you enter (type) the message.

Do you have a test account i can use to test this my self?

Please also make sure you give this test account a admin account so i can take a look at any codes you may have on your CSS and JavaScripts. I will then run a basic test on your chat Box and see if i have the same problem.

Right now i have tested 2 account's live on my forum and i have no problem's at all.

This problem has been temporary and is no longer present on the forums. Please empty your cache and try again

On my side, I no longer reproduce it on your forum and the chatbox is updated automatically
