Hide code when writing a post?

Hi everyone,

How do you hide the [/.b][/b/] code when you bold the text?

I find it so confusing having extra code when writing.

You could switch to WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) mode in the text editor. To do this you simply need to hit the icon that looks like a sheet of paper with a bent corner. It is usually the last icon in the editor.

Is there any way to set this as a default for all the users?

Yes: AP(Admin Panel) --> General --> Messages and e-mails --> Configuration --> Messages --> Activate the WYSIWYG mode by default in the posts: Tick to yes and save.
