Is it at all possible to embed video from Google Drive?

Is it at all possible to embed video from Google Drive in a forumotion post? My group is desperate to be able to insert videos without using Youtube, but none of the listed compatible websites for embedding are really for videos. I tried Facebook, but I still can't get it to embed the video.

Are we stuck just posting links with no embeds? That would be super sad.

You should be able to embed it using the embed code they provide, however, note that if the video is not set to public in the user settings of google drive, it will not be visible to anyone but the person's whose account it is.

You can embed audio and video contents in the posts via the EMBED tag. But for Google Drive, it doesn't work because of permissions issues + this is an URL without specific format (".mp4"...).
