Code to use the @ symbols and Host an Image

Description of problem

I noticed at my friends forum, they use the @NAME to notify each other in their topics. I tried using it in my forum and it doesn't work. She doesn't know how it works for her forum, but thought it was a code added.

Is there a code to add to a template for that? If so, what is the code and what template does it go in?

Or is it part of a paid package? I have the free forum.

Also, when using the "Host an Image" is that like using attachment so uses the forums allow storage?

2.  Host an image is a separate storage from your forum.  It is Servimg.
