New admin for forum

Hi friends,

In the last time I don't have enough time for my forum, so I want to transfer admin rights to user who will further develop and care about the forum. Can somebody tell me how to do it?

If you are the founder of the forum this is really easy.

First you need to pick who you can trust to run the forum as the new owner / founder.

Ask the new person for the following.

1, New Email address never used on the forum before.
2, log on to you forum account as founder / owner and then add the new Email address in place of your's then Save.
3, then change the password so some thing easy on your old founders account.

4, Then send a PM to the new founder with the Username and password.
Ask the person to log in and go to the ACP and tell them to find the founders account and change the password they want to use making sure they don't use the same one as the other account they have.

It is really that easy.

The founders account is now their account and they will run the forum.
Please note you will no longer have a Account on the forum so if you want to stay a member you will need to make a new account.

If you want to completely transfer ownership, you will also need to change the information in the forum's utilities.
