Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
Hello,
Forum version is ModernBB. I'm not sure if this topic would belong to script problems or appearance, I hope it's okay.
As it seems, in the modern mobile version of the forum, I don't have the burger menu (three lines on top of each other) on the main page or search icon, though I can see them in tabs like "watched" or "PM box" etc. I removed my models modifications, I removed CSS etc. to make sure it wasn't my codings that were hiding them. I also checked help.forumotion.com's mobile version, we have those icons here. So it must be available but I must be doing something wrong. Is there a checkbox, do I need additional codes or am I missing something else?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
@Razor12345 Hey,
That's exactly what I was trying to explain. I want it on the home page as well. I think this forum has.

Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
I had old templates for the mobile version on the test forum. Like you, I didn't have a burger button on the home page.
I removed the old templates and the button appeared:
Check your mobile-templates (especially overall_header and overall_footer) for the codes listed in this topic in the second post.

@Razor12345 Ah-ha. I must have missed this announcement. It looks like all those changes in the second post was in other sections, rather than mobile templates. Yet I replaced the codes as instructed in a test forum (https://indummy.yetkinforum.com/) , also removed all custom templates in mobile section too but still I can't see the icons on main page.
Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
Did you publish the change of templates ?
Also always clear your browser when making a change to your templates or javaScripts.

Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
Yes, of course, I published ^^ @Ape
The problem is, now, I actually found the burger menu but only when I selected the desktop version on the mobile browser. Also, this burger menus content is different than the one I'm actually looking for.
There is a menu here on the shot below, but the content is forums navbar items.
Not the same with this one;
This new responsive adaptation is actually not working well for my forum since my home page is somewhat heavily coded from forum descriptions to the subforum links etc etc. Therefore I have to be able to use this simplified but modern mobile version. The burger menu I have on different bottom tabs of the mobile version has "log out" option, "dark mode" option etc. without the full navbar content. I appreciate it. Would love to have it the same on the home page as well.
I can give the account info of the u1 for the test forum to tweak around, if someone is willing, if necessary.

Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
If you have changes to the mobile version templates - save them and try deleting all the mobile version templates. I didn't get the burger menu as it looks now the first time.
Also try removing overal_header template from general tab.
And then, delete cookies and clean browser.

Sadly we will not log in to your Admin / founders account's to make a change to your forum for you.
If you have made a change to your templates and lots of them then we can't really help as we don't mess about with codes you have already added.

Re: Mobile Version / Burger Menu & Search Icon
Ah, I see, Ape.
I've cleaned all template updates, i removed all css, even changed forum version to something else and back to make sure everything got reset, nothing happened.
I've been cleaning the cache all the while.
But i finally figured out the problem........... One of the JS codes that are totally unrelated -it was using a variable i created not anything burger menu etc. would've have- was hiding it apparently. I removed all JS one by one, finally pinned the doing this. I must somehow tweak it. I thought i would write it here for the future reference.
@Razor12345 @Ape thank you for your time and effort.
