Error message: You have reached the limit number of images
Hi,
I poked around for a good while today, but still don't see an answer to this particular problem; I apologize if it is there and I have overlooked it. One of our forum moderators at OneSixthFigures.forumotion.com, who has taken on the tedious and thankless task of doing most of the new product announcements for the purposes of information and discussion, reported being unable to upload additional images and receiving the following error message:
"An Error Occurred
You have reached the limit number of images
(65000). For accounts associated with out partners, please contact
the support of your hosting service."
I did notice 65000 show up as a magic limit number for some items in the https://help.forumotion.com/t159528-some-limits-of-forumotion-forum?highlight=limits topic, but there was no mention specifically of limits on the number of images.
Is there anything we can do to remove this limit for this particular forum member?
Or, is there any practical workaround anyone would recommend.
Thank you in advance!

Hello @GubernatorFan,
There is a possibility to transform this saturated account into an archive account and start with a new blank account.
Here is the explanation how to do it :

Re: Error message: You have reached the limit number of images
Thank you Skouliki and Luzz.
I am verifying with our moderator that this is a Servimg issue, although, given your comments, that seems to be the case. Sounds like our options are three:
1. Erase a bunch of old uploaded images on his Servimg account -- a temporary solution.*
2. Make a new forum user account which would go with a new Servimg account.
3. Ask an administrator/manager here to associate his existing Servimg account with a different email address, and then the system would automatically start a new Servimg account to go with his existing forum user account and current email address. The old Servimg account would become inaccessible (or would he be able to access it with his different email address?) but the images posted from it would continue to appear.
I suspect he might find the third option preferable -- so do I understand it correctly?
* EDIT: In a recent response, he mentions that deleting about 20 old images on Servimg -- as a test -- did not seem to fix the problem. I asked him whether he thought to log our and back in (into Servimg) to see if this changes anything, and he said he had done so.
Thanks again!

Re: Error message: You have reached the limit number of images
Did he totally delete them?
In case of deletion, your image(s) are kept for 30 days before final deletion from the action. Your images have been sent in the category Trash folder. Thus, in the event of an error, you have the possibility to restore them (within the limit of 30 days). However, you do not have to wait 30 days for the images to be deleted. You can force them to be deleted by going to the Trash folder (see next point).

Thank you for the reminder/suggestion, I forwarded it to him, and he will test it. It would still be a temporary solution, at best, so we are still looking at the other options, too.
Re: Error message: You have reached the limit number of images
the best solution is the one provided by Luzz above

Re: Error message: You have reached the limit number of images
Thank you both for the helpful suggestions. He opted to create a new account, but it is good to know the limitations and the workaround options. It might be worth adding that Servimg would host only up to 65000 images per account to the list of forum limits, https://help.forumotion.com/t159528-some-limits-of-forumotion-forum?highlight=limits .
