First topic message reminder :

Two hackers are in COMPLETE control of a site. They've even taken over the head admin account. We can't do ANYTHING to get back the site. So PLEASE help us. Crying or Very sad

I would like to say please chill out till tomorrow as the techs will return to work and see that this glitch is happening and they will be working on fixing it. Typlo will most likily give us an update on this issue.

Sit back, have a few drink (Coke, Water etc...) and your forum will return to normal.

Yeah I'm saving what everything as we speak...I hope everyone will get their information back! I'm really surprised there has been zero OFFICIAL RESPONSE. That's almost more annoying then this odd bug/hack/whatever.

The techs not being aware of the issue NOW is a big problem. Are the servers not being monitored on a regular basis? Usually you can set a server up to send out notices to a blackberry or some sort of other mobile device when there is an issue and an admin can login remotely to see whats going on. As a mod are you not in touch with the people that run the service? I find it hard to believe that whoever is in charge is not already aware this. What is the normal protocol for handling technical issues with forumotion?

I appreciate your efforts at keeping the peace around here and my frustration is not with you. But it's like dealing with level 1 support when we should be talking to level 3 people.

I am a Volunteer staff member and the only person that works with the techs is Typlo. The Techs live in Franch and dont work on the weekends so its hard everyone when a glitch happens on the forums. When they come in the office I bet they will see this error and will fix it ASAP.

Im sorry I dont have contact or work for ForuMotion I wish I did.

I belive that the techs are announced, in the French forum, the moderators announced the techs.

I lost my forum too, my password is same

I tried this as well https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

but i cant c my forum but in the admin panel i can c the forum details BLANK and INCOMPLETE Confused

I hope you guys get this fixed .. m feeling to cry Sad

Well, it's not your fault, and like I said I appreciate your efforts. It's hard being on the frontline, believe me I know ha.

Hopefully Typlo and company will have a little pow wow after this and figure out how to better serve their users when issues arise. Uptime is crucial on any site and I can only hope that forumotion is sensitive to that fact.....

I'm back up too......Must've been a pretty simple fix. You guys need a more effective way of being notified when something is wrong. All of this probably could have been avoided with a simple IM er something when the first user reported it.

Anyway, thanks for taking care of it.

Cool, my forums' back...!..But I need to figure out how to login to this Utilities page...Ive tried using my email and forum link to login but it wont...any ideas?

My forums are back online all on their own. Waiting was the key. Plus the fact I couldn't remember my email and password so thank goodness that was close.

I closed my forum down yesterday after I tried to restore because i couldn't stay connected fro more than a few seconds. I came on today and tried to restore. My forum is now back to the way it was yesterday morning.

I am still having connection issues and so are my members., where do i go for this problem. ty
