registering forum address
I have followed the instructions posting on the forums on how to set up a existing domain via CNAME
Currently, your forum address is : geekcafe.forumotion.com
https://geekcafe.xyz points to https://www.forumotion.com/search/www.geekcafe.xyz
The instructions on the forums as i can tell a lot of people are having problems with this. Is there anything wrong in my setup?

Re: registering forum address
Contacted GoDaddy and they set up the account like this and it seems to be working. This allows the use of the following URLs;
https://geekcafe.xyz
https://www.geekcafe.xyz
We are waiting for the DNS to propagate to make sure these both work.
If anything that can help future members in the community here are some tips.
https://www.whatsmydns.net/#CNAME/
use this tool to see if your setup is pointing in the right direction. (Allow time for DNS setting to propagate Est 2 - 24 hours)

its almost just waiting for the https://geekcafe.xyz to be operational. still isn't working via that url.
Re: registering forum address
Your new site URL should be https://www.geekcafe.xyz/ (with www) - not https://geekcafe.xyz

Re: registering forum address
You need to ask the company you bought the domain name through, the redirect has to be set up a certain way so both the www and non www version of your domain point to the same thing.
