Hello
If you bought an external domain name, you can use our Cname option: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-cname-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board

Its been over 24hrs is this normal?
Re: Domain
Its evident that you've not paired the domain name properly as you've got an error message telling you there is CNAME redirection.

Well as ive asked several times how do i fix this, i followed the tut and its still the same??
Re: Domain
Just a suggestion but have you tried contacting Godaddy and asking them for the exact method of pairing because the above tutorial is very generalized and might not apply to everyone.

Thats the thing, everything on godady is working like if i type in the new .com domain it to my site but the site page still says a different url so its the forumotion that isnt changing/working.
Re: Domain
Did you check the box for forced redirection in your administration panel?

Re: Domain
Hello
If you get this error message, it means your Cname is not well configurated
I advise you to start from the begenning. There are three information to enter
1- Time to live:
Indicate your users will get in cache your pages. Choose a long period of time (around 15 days is enough)
2- Name:
It is the particle is the domain. For example:
name.your_domain.uk
If you want to have your forum on www.your_domain.uk, in that case the name =www
If you want to have your forum on forum.your_domain.uk, in that case the name = forum.... etc
3- Value:
It is the url targetted, the url of your forum
You can watch the following video:
The video is in French but I think it can help
