[ONLY TOPIC] Maintence page?!?

Hello,

So today I tried to login into my forum under the founder account and recieved notification of maintence by forumotion. It took me like 30 tries and refreshes to even login, I also tried logging into a regular account on my forum and my account on the support forum.

Is forumotion running maintence right now?

yes, an unplanned maintenance is currently on forumotion's server

I can tell you the problem has already been reported to the technical team and that the team of this support forum will inform you of progresses

Ok thanks but is there any estimated time that the maintenance will end?

the french team sent an alert to the technicians and a temporary patch has been released

On monday they will think on a conclusive patch to avoid this happening again in future
issues related to the maintenance page or the connection to the administrative panel should be solved now.

So today on my forum I got the maintenance page again. I also got it once on the support forum.

It occured about 11:15 AM EST this morning.

It was not as bad as before, if I refreshed the page it fixed it, but I wanted to report it here because I thought it was supposed to be permanently fixed last Monday. So I report this here today so the higher ups can maybe take a look into their fix just to make sure it will permanently prevent this.

I too am getting maintenance pages. We were getting that for several hours a week or so ago, I couldn't get in here to report it.

I keep refereshing, sometimes it corrects itself after several tries, but it's annoying.

I got the maintenance message at 5:45 pm EST.
It did give me the option to retry, I did, and, got in. I posted to the mods. I tried to read your link, but, I can't read French. Only English.

I have a question, if I may ask it... from what I understand (and I may not know very much), this issue with the maintenance page was supposed to be fixed 2 Monday's ago... so why do I and my staff occasionally get the maintenance page still a couple times a week? I get it on the support forum on occasion as well. Is the issue truly fixed? If so why are myself and staff on my staff members on my forum still experiencing this issue?

I prefectly understand your worry. Be sure our technicians are currently investigating! This problem happens ramdomly on few forums and all the time the same forums. So, this information helps us to continue working on it.

Would it help you and the techs any if I started a report topic on my forum asking members and staff to report whenever they experience the issue and all the information they can give when it does?

I do not think there is ever any maintenance happening when the page appears, I think it is more a techicinal bug that makes the server re-direct to the maintenance page. So until the Techs find out why it re-directing forums there and how, it may keep happening.

I have started a topic on my forum to report any maintenance page issues. I have instructed my staff to make a report if and when they come across it each time. It is my hope members will also. I will be sure to forward any legit and useful reports onto you.
