unable to see most member avatars
Hello, I'm brand new to this site and I'm not a forum owner, just a member of one.
I've been experiencing for about 24 hours now not being able to see mine and most others avatars on the forum I belong to. The Administrator feels this will just go away. I on the other hand I don't and that's why I'm here.
I seem to be the ONLY one on the forum experiencing this, can anyone help? I'm running Firefox and Windows XP Pro.

Hello,
Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes these can cause unwanted problems.

Yes I have, no affect at all.brandon_g wrote:Hello,

Here's what's real strange, I can see everything fine using IE but, Firefox I can't.
On my laptop using Firefox everything is fine. I must be the Firefox browser on my desktop giving the problem
but, I haven't a clue how to fix it. I also getting that "we're doing maintenance" when logging back into that forum
and had to enter the site differently then usual to get it to come up.

Yeah the maintenance thing is a seperate FM issue... bug yeah the issue sounds like a browser problem on your desktop. You can also try clearing the forum cookies. See if this helps any.

Ok... HMMM... Then I would just use a different browser for now on that forum. I do not know what else you can really do besides contact Mozzila Support. I mean it is a pain, but if it is not the forum cookies or the browser cache or cookies and it works on other browsers and pc's then it is really a problem with the Firefox on your Desktop from what I can tell.

Okay, I understand. I'll probably have to uninstall Firefox and then reinstall, what a pain.brandon_g wrote:Ok... HMMM... Then I would just use a different browser for now on that forum. Thank you though for your help.

Hello,
Just a note for you.
As you are using XP pro Firefox No longer support your Windows so there for any browser problems would be down to you as your computer is out of date/ no longer supported.
This is not a problem that we can really help you with as it has nothing to do with our service here at FM.
sorry we can not help any more then the other members have already.
