My forum is threatened

OK guys, soo... this is my forum:

And 2 guys are trying to do something with the forum, they say that they can get the founder's rights and have access to everything. I'm really worried... Can they do anything to my forum?

Hello @Geor4_,

If you are afraid of losing your founder rights change your password to something difficult to hack, such as using password with both letters capital and small,numbers,dashes etc to make it difficult to hack.
Examples:
Luffy_123!pass, or Luffy.pass-123!

An please do not trust anyone that can offer you safety. You manage how safe your forum and your accounts are by having strong passwords and a good backup.

Make sure that no one can figure out your log in information for the founder account.

I would not react to their threat. I mean reply to emails, private messages, or any contact on social media. I would also ban their accounts if they are members of your forum.

Yeah what Luffy and SLGray have said above is true... if you can, if they have an account on your forum or view it, try to write their IP Address both on your computer and by hand on paper, if you can IP ban them as well as ban them by e-mail address, don't respond to anything they say, ignore them, maybe get a screenshot of all messaged he sends you, change your password, remove and block whoever it any place he can contact you on such as email (if possible), social media, skype, etc and just generally proceed as caution.

So my forum cant be attacked by hackers and they can't do anything if they don't know my pass? Nice guys, thx!

Well there is never a way to 100% assure your forum won't get hacked, but the things we stated above are all pecautions and things you can do to prevent such. There are backup systems put in place that the Founder can utilize even if their Founder account is hacked they become locked out. If all else fails, all you gotta do is come back here and we'll help you get back what is rightfully yours. However, yeah the things we said and some viligenace and caution should very hopefully keep your forum safe and protected Very Happy
