Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Not good got another flash scam these need to be gone! Safe pop up from a well known and respected retailers would probably the best option if you must have them. Scam redirect are bad I'm may have to move my site a third time at this rate. If this scam issues it not fixed. I'm looking around a we speak to see if I can find a safe free host that fits my needs and does not have image issues, link issues, or scam redericts.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello,
@Dragongirl02 and @ghfan4ever33 : we're replacing the current ad partner by a new one (it will be effective in 1 hour I think). Please, can you test on your side this weekend if the redirects are still present? Because we can't reproduce them here but the current ad partner is a very high suspect.
Please, continue to provide us your location, your device (mobile or desktop), your OS, your browser and the version of the forum (desktop or mobile). If you have some links too, it's perfect !
@eresseia : what is the address of your forum please ? Is it http://creativewritingclub.forumotion.com/ ? If yes, your forum has 0 point of activity and there is a pop-under for all inactive forums. You can post a message sometimes to have a minimum of 1 point and don't have this ad.
Also, please provide us the URL of the spam/hacker websites where you are redirected. It's not normal to be redirected to spam/hacker websites with the pop-under...
And if it's not caused by the pop-under, the replacement of the current ad partner will solve your issue too.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello guys ,
My forum most times when it is on mobile version(but it happens also and on the desktop version) , auto redirects when someone clicks to navigate on the forum to pages from the ads .
For example , previously from the mobile version i was redirected to http://viralapps.club/?s=38019367618 .
My forum address is http://study4u.all-up.com OR http://forum.study4u.gr
Thanks!

Checking on the test site. After about 3 refreshes I get redirected to a questionable site it happened yesterday but that one was definitely a scam, however, the screenshot did not snap the screen like it should have so I lost the data for that one. I'm going to post something there and see if there been a breach too if I can get in.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello,
We sent all the information to the ad partner. It should be ok in few hours. We already blocked the redirects on Android. The ad partner is searching for the responsible campaigns on iOS devices.
I will keep you in touch when it will done

Hello,
It should be fixed. I received a confirmation from the ad partner regarding redirects on Android and iOS and I didn't reproduce.
Can someone confirm me it's fixed please?

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Are scam redirects suppose to be said pop-ups for slow sites? As that seems to be all I'm getting with the pop-ups, scam sites. Scam site to equal a big "Yuck!" Also scanned the computer again and luckily it came out clean. Scam sites are very dangerous as a lot of time I catch them trying to sneak trojans (scam ads I think can do it too) onto my computer.
Another Scam pop-up:
Site: http://test-site2.forumotion.com
-Country: USA
-Device: Mac OS Sierra
-Browser: Safari
-What I was doing: Logging in, to the test site and it opened in a new window.
However here the scam site screen shot and said scam link:

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Forumotion is not the only place on the Internet that has these types of ads/popups. I even come across them on sites that offer videos. They are everywhere.
All we can do is gather the information and give it to the ad providers. There is more than one ad provider that is the reason why we need the information.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
I’ve seen the pop-ups on some video site too and kind of expected them on those type of sites. However on forums sites they should not be around, Your folks behavior with the scam pop-ups and scam ads are showing me that it might be best to find a new host that actually cares about users safety, after the ad removal is over on my main site. I would move sooner but I don’t want money you folks forced me into using to go to waste. You do have about a year to get me to change my mind. Plus I still need to find a host that meets requirements and that takes time too. Plus I also have to consider any leftover points.
Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Forumotion does not try to have scam ads. They sometimes just sneak in past our ad provider and end up on our sites. Once a pro admin sees the one you pointed out and gives the info to our ad provider, that one should go away.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Well, I'm still doubtful as I was reporting mobile scam banner ads since November 5th. Are all the scams from that first post gone? The answer is no.
Has a pro-admin seen the posts in that topic yes.
Should those scam ads in that first banner scam ad report be all gone if the above is really true?

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello,
I sent a request yesterday about the last alerts. The ad partner asks me if it's possible, in the future, to have your IP address too? Because it's easier to find the responsible campaign with the IP.
About the scam ads listed, it's in progress. It will be OK today.
We will try to change the ad partner or the format on mobile with the "Mobile Dialog Ads" which are less intrusive and more mobile-friendly. And it's not a solution but you can avoid them if your forum is active. One point is enough to don't get them.
I will keep you in touch when I receive a notification.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
The current IPs I’m using I don’t see a problem with that if they need it. However, I prefer if I need to send you the info it’s done through PMs. The computer might be a little easier to do since that I believe is static. I can give you the one for the iPhone when it on the same wifi as the computer is on. Though from past experiences I had alway thought when the smartphone on its cellular data the IP was none-static.
I’m just worried if it keeps happening I’ll eventually wind up with a noisy scam ad here and at a bad time with the sound on and not having some earbuds plugged in. I just do not want annoy any roommate(s). Plus if it where to happen they would probably be asking some weird questions due to the loud noise. I had it happen on another site and I almost mistook the noise the scam ad was making for the fire alarm luckily that happened at a decent time.

Description of problem
I know there is a thread for this but I had to register and this screen came up prompting me to enter the problem so here it is:We are in the U.S.A., all the users, the founder and the admins.
Forum URL: http://spbb2.forumotion.com/
Problem reported from a user of a Google Nexus 7 tablet with an Android OS and Chrome browser. Issues do not occur on her laptop. Also, she has taken the problem tablet to various locations and the problems occur everywhere, not just with one ISP. The following issues do not occur on any other websites she accesses.
Issues: Rerouting to sweepstakes pages, or popup telling her the site is dangerous or she has a virus.
Unfortunately, the only info she is able to provide are the URLs. She's afraid to click on the popups.
The sweepstakes URL changes, but have been:
promo.flyawaysimulation.xyz/giftcard.html
promo.allfastgames.xyz/giftcard.html
The virus warning reroute (which possibly might be a popup?) is:
us.qti4xcb0.pw
I hope you can help. TIA.

Hello,
A ticket was opened yesterday regarding some forced redirects on mobile. Thank you for all your details and we know how it's complicated to get information with this issue...
The sweepstakes pages depend on the forced redirect.
I will notify you here when it will be fixed (I hope today).

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Last night my time I was trying to do an update and find those extremely “what the world are they still doing around scam ads”. I had luck for awhile suddenly I started getting redirected to an error page a lot. I recognized it as the app store redirect not rendering correctly on my laptop.
Just now I used my cell to try to replicate it and to snatch the link with success however now I can’t log in on my iPhone as the app redirects are preventing me getting to the login page. Even creating a post in attempts to calm the redirect down failed.
Though here something I can provide:

Just now I used my cell to try to replicate it and to snatch the link with success however now I can’t log in on my iPhone as the app redirects are preventing me getting to the login page. Even creating a post in attempts to calm the redirect down failed.
Though here something I can provide:

Annoying redirect that does not allow you to return to the forum with the back button of the phone, you must close the browser and re-open the forum (of course users are clicking less experienced downloading harmful content, and in some cases have also made subscriptions without their knowledge).

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Bad banner ads seem to have stop mostly or is it because I'm on a different Ip? Only seeing google pixel cell banner scam. Will check later on. However redirects are still being bad which I can't allow on my site. Thing are not looking good for you folks.
