Re: [Only Topic]Down time 02/04/16
Sure thing @APE . Thought it was my provider, but all other non-FM sites seem to be working well. It started around 11 pm CET and all FM sites I want to visit seem to be unreachable every 2 or 3 minutes.

Any idea how long the scheduled downtime will be for?
It is also affecting my own forum.

We do not know if this was a scheduled downtime. If it was, we would have been informed ahead of time.

Hello,
I can confirm that the issue has been on and off on my forum http://www.broadcastingduo.forumotion.com/forum . Things seem to be fine again for now, it seems to be an on and off thing, I dont think its anything major major, atleast sites are still accessible.
I think its actually a server issue, not database, the tutorial on techinical errors/messages says that circle means a server issue.
I bet its probably server hiccups from extremelly high traffic or something as it does seem on and off. That is of course just a guess on my part, no way for us volunteer staff to know for sure what it is since the office is closed for the weekend.
Just please be patient with us everyone .

Re: [Only Topic]Down time 02/04/16
It looks like it got solved. However, sometimes I still get slowdowns (not lost connections). So the fequency is down from each 2 - 3 minutes to once every half an hour or so. I was experiencing that on http://avacweb.forumotion.co.uk this morning between 9 am - 11:30 CET.
Re: [Only Topic]Down time 02/04/16
The problem looks to have been solved but we still have no word of what was the problem in the first place,
I will leave this open until monday but i have looked on other forums and there is not any news on why we had this.
maybe monday we may get told but as its ok now i see no other problems.

Any word on this yet, cuz it seems to be resolved now. Still 'd like to know what was causing this tho. Ty!
I learned a lot from the past so my best guess is, it was network related, switch or router in Nice, France that got haywired during the weekend.

You have to understand on the weekends we have a lot more members working on there forum or posting and sometimes this can overload the servers or datacenter.
Not always can we get why this was a problem if its from our datacenter as its not our center we just pay for them to host our system.
We have no control over this system other then we send data to them.
I will do my best to get some feedback on this matter but as you may know we have no Pro admin right now so getting this sort of info will be hard as there was no other report made in my tools other then mine and a pro admin has not been online in here yet to see my other reports or this thread.
It is only just gone 11:49 there so we still have lots of time in the day.
Remember we are only here as members like you are but help the forum as staff.
We report back when we find out we cant do any more then that if we don't get told our self s
Regards
APE
