Forum shows me as logging in when I'm not

Yesterday a member told me she saw me logging into the forum, but I was at work and wasn't logging in.

I suspected this might have been caused by an iPad that I own but which I sometimes use for work. I connected it and disconnected it from three different wi-fi networks yesterday, and I was wondering whether it might have caused me to log in at one point when I connected.

It would be helpful to see a record of when I've logged in as well, if that's accessible. Thanks.

Specifically, I believe she saw a notification that I'd read an old private message from her, but I didn't look at my PMs yesterday.

When the member said this, did she/him mean they saw you do something?

Sometimes there is a glitch where it shows someone is login in the who's online section when they are exactly logged off.

I'm not 100% sure what your member is talking about when they say they see a notification saying you read your private message from them as our system Don't tell members in the notification's

Unless they went in the private message sent box and looked to see if you read it but even then this could have been anytime not just yesterday or today as it don't give a time or date of when it was read.

also if you just delete all your inbox or just that members posts it will show them you read it even if you never looked at it.

As for them seeing you online at a time you was offline sometimes the members browser cache can be a little slow and it will show that the member is online when there not.

I'm 100% sure there is nothing to worry about here but to be safe then sorry Change your password on your forum and in your Forum Utilities
