Re: unwanted ads
Do you mean those popups on the top right corner? If yes, that is not ads from Forumotion. I do not know what those are. Are you the founder of the forum?

Re: unwanted ads
Thanks for letting us know.
I will make a ticket and ask our team to take a look at the ad's and find out where they are coming from.
I don't think it's anything we have on our side but maybe they can find out why your sites are getting them.

Re: unwanted ads
Dear members,
The side popup ad's is normal for a forum that has NO activity points. But we don't want porn or ad's that have sex content's in it so i have made a ticket.

Please Note to get the ad's removed like this you must use your forum more and get members posting to stop the ad's popping out from the side of the screen.
The more you and your members post the number of activity points you get and then after 2 or more activity points the ad's will get removed, Then you must keep your point's up so they don't come back.
Re: unwanted ads
hello,
these ads are not related to forumotion and do not come in any case from our advertising partner. you have probably added a code on your forum responsible for the appearance of these unwanted ads...
from our side, we do not even see them on your forum or on any other forum.

Re: unwanted ads
In Forumotion , there are no popups only fixed advertising in the forum index under the banner and at the end of the topics within the forums.
That advertisement is yours of some code that you have added to the forum some new Javascript that contained a redirect that you did not know, when I click on the link of the ads using the console ,takes me to a Javascript, check the JS section of your forum and the sites where it could and place. It is also possible that someone has introduced it by putting some html in a theme title.
FYI You can also have some malware on your pc and it affects browsers, by opening pop-ups or weird ads

Re: unwanted ads
Hello,
I apologize for my previous message because the team has just identified the source of the problem. A test was launched on a new advertising format (only for inactive forums) a week ago.
Unfortunately, we did not know that this format would display such content. Indeed, the advertising partner had announced a visually non-intrusive and quality format... With a French IP, we did not have this type of content at all on our side.
The team therefore withdrew the format a few minutes ago. Can you confirm that the problem is no longer present please?
