I understand. I'm just trying to move from the current board to my test account and convert that site. I do hope you understand what I'm saying here.

You can not transfer data from one forum to another.

OK. I'm gonna have to continue doing things the hard way. I'm currently moving everything from the Original Bethea's Byte site to the test account and if all goes well, I'll rename the test account Bethea's Byte. But I have to move (copy and paste) all the javascript codes from one end to the other.

To answer your question, I want to transfer everything (content included (wishful thinking)) from the original site to the Test Account. Let's just say I messed a bit and now I need to get things as right as possible.

The only thing you would be easily able to transfer would be the forum theme (and the css and images included in that theme). Everything else would have to be copied by hand. Accounts would have to be made by scratch, posts copied and pasted by hand, it would be a rather long and excruciating process.

It would be much easier to just keep the site you have now, then try to move everything over to a new one. Is there a particular reason your trying to change over to a new forum?

Hey Brandon. I am in that process right now. I messed up on trying to get the site right after losing the FAE Control Panel. Good thing I had my Test Account. Now I'm moving everything to that account and about to rename that "Bethea's Byte".

I've been hard at work since early this morning (local time) and just finally finished with the images. Now I need to set up the boards as I had them THEN alert all members to re-sign with the new (version of the) site.

Why don't you just do a restore of your forum from before the problem with FAE occurred?

@brandon_g you are a life saver. I should have asked for this to begin with. That way, I would not have any of these headaches.

Thank you a million times over!
