Some Assorted Questions re: Policies, Post/Character Limits, etc.
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this (apologies if it isn't), but I have a few questions which I couldn't manage to find the answers to. I have been looking into creating my own forum for a while now, and Forumotion seems to be the best choice for what I want, but there's a few things I need to know before I commit (though of course I had to go ahead and create the forum to post my questions here).
Thank you for your time and assistance.

- First off, I've come across a few posts where people have complained about the 1,990 post limit per topic before the topic locks itself and splits into another topic. However, the last information I could find regarding this was posted in 2017, and I was wondering if the limit has changed (or, hopefully, even been removed) since then.
- What is the largest character limit allowed per post? I seem to recall reading it was 60,000 characters in the past, but I can no longer find any information on this.
- Will my forum ever be deleted by Forumotion due to extended periods of inactivity?
- Who owns the content posted on my forum? I know that Forumotion owns the database, and said database is off-limits to forum owners and thus non-transferrable to another webhost, but I want to make sure that any content posted on my forum is my own property. The privacy policy/terms of service seems to indicate that it is, but I just wish to confirm.
- Can I keep my forum unlisted so that it doesn't appear in your directory? It's going to be a private forum for me and my friends and I'd rather avoid any unwanted attention.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Re: Some Assorted Questions re: Policies, Post/Character Limits, etc.
Thanks for the quick replies! That clears nearly everything up, though I'm not sure if you completely understood my fourth question. I know the database is owned by Forumotion, but I just wanted to make sure that any of the characters or writing posted on my forum (it's going to be a roleplay forum) still belong to me and my members only. It's probably a silly question, but I'm very protective. ^^'
Re: Some Assorted Questions re: Policies, Post/Character Limits, etc.
Well of course your own writings and stuff still belong to you. It's just you should keep a backup copy if you wish to use it outside of Forumotion since we can not move posts from the database.

I don't want to hi jack this topic but want to check how many smilies we are allowed.
In the topic you have linked to @Ape it states 255, but in this old topic it states 150 including default smilies:
https://help.forumotion.com/t8325-smilies-emoticons?highlight=smilies
Can I have confirmation which one it is please?
Thanks.
