Re: Facebook connect failed
Hello,
You have to affilate your account in your profile. After you do that, it should he work.
Note: Thag for some odd unexplainable reason, if you try to login using the FB account that you made the app with, you will get this error, I got that error as well and still do, however, when I tried to login with a different FB account (not my primary one) it worked. That is how my FB connect is indeed working. I bet yours is too, just for you.

my facebook profile has been connected, but the login doesn't work.
when i go to other accounts, it only works in the beginning. then an error message will appear.

I noticed in profile you are using punBB. Do you have modified templates? If yes, please read this: https://help.forumotion.com/t73698-facebook-connect#473973 .

Re: Facebook connect failed
Hello
You have to disallow the automatic connection on your forum. There is a conflict between that option and Facebook connect
Normally it should work
Let me know

Re: Facebook connect failed
Did you deactivate the automatic connection in the administration panel? Is this only happening to you or all your members?

I managed to register successfully using FB on the site above (I registered under the username Brandon_G, I changed the name to protect my privacy, but I hit the register with FB button, may you please delete my account when you see it, it should be in the inactivate users section, thanks).
Your connect feature seems to working, atleast for me. You may want to ask your users to try registering with theirs, I can assure you it is more likely working, just not for you.

i have tried many times, this works. but it did not work entirely. i often encounter failed to login
i have removed your account, you can try to re-register and login, then logout and try to sign in with facebook.
Re: Facebook connect failed
I believe it all worked, I just think it may not work for you. For some strange unexplainable reason, if you try to login using the FB account you used to create the app, it will not work and will create errors. I still can not login with mine to this day with my primary one, but the secondary account I use as the forum's account I can register, login, logout with no problems once so ever. I tested it on my test forum before moving it to my main one. Works, just not my primary. Not that it matters, not worried about joining on that one, I have a perfectly good Founder/Admin account to use .
My point is: I think from that aspect it is on Facebook's side of things and I don't think is much more we can try to do to assist you with this problem here on the support forum. I mean I think myself and everyone else above has recommended and suggested all we could to help get your issue resolved.

Re: Facebook connect failed
The Facebook Connect option is for Facebook (personal) accounts, not accounts you used to create apps.
